The main purpose of solar modules of the Solar series is the supply of autonomous telemetry and telemechanics complexes of line and site structures of oil and gas and chemical industry objects, such as process information collection controllers, gas metering units equipped with information transfer to the control panel of the dispatcher.
The use of solar models for feeding such complexes imposes on them the requirements for limiting the operating time at full power and low power consumption in the "sleep mode". This also applies to energy supply projects for autonomous lighting and safety systems, in which case the work periods can be selected close to the examples given.
Example of selection of a solar module for an remote terminal unit (RTU) at latitude St. Petersburg (59 ° N), Moscow (55 ° N) and Krasnodar (45 ° N).
RTU mode: full consumption 20W, 1W in the "sleep" mode.
In Table. 1,2,3 shows examples of the complete sets, with the help of the SOLAR line, autonomous power supply units suitable for different modes of AC usage at different latitudes (total hours worked per day). For example, if the RTU will operate at full power for 5 minutes, during each hour, then the total value for the day will be 2h.
